God's plan for you

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (NIV).

John 3:16 - For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. JESUS clearly says in John 10:10 that He came so you can have real life, more and better life than you ever dreamed of. (The message)

Every day, every time and everywhere. John 1:12 says of JESUS that as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of GOD, to those who believed in His name (NKJV).

You are blessed in JESUS

Right from creation GOD blessed the man and the woman and commanded them to be fruitful and multiply. Sin opened the door for curses. But thanks to GOD. Today we can enjoy all the blessings of GOD by receiving JESUS and following Him. Ephesians 1:3 - Praise be to the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in CHRIST (NIV).

Relationship with the HOLY SPIRIT

The HOLY SPIRIT should be your best friend. You cannot do without Him as a Christian. He comes to dwell in your spirit when you believe in JESUS. In chapters 14, 15 and 16 of the book of John, JESUS explains that GOD the HOLY SPIRIT will be with you forever. He will teach you all things, guide you into all truth and tell you of things to come. He is our Comforter. He is our Helper. He helps us in prayer and He gives us power to tell others about JESUS. Those who are led by the HOLY SPIRIT are indeed the sons of GOD - Romans 8:14.

The winning lifestyle

Living a life of love is the winning lifestyle. GOD is love and the proof that we know GOD and are in His plan is our love for Him and people. JESUS tells us in John 13:14 and 15 that people will know that we are His disciples by the way we love one another as Christians. We are also expected to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us and pray for those who misuse us. Luke 6:27 and 28 (NIV) Read 1st Corinthians 13 to understand what love is.

Habits for success

There are certain daily and regular habits that mark you out for success in the plan of GOD.

Daily study of the Bible
Giving praise and thanks to GOD
Spending time in prayer to GOD for others and yourself
Walking in obedience to GOD
Commitment and regular attendance to church

You are blessed to be a blessing

You are saved by JESUS with the mandate to reach others with the good news of salvation. The knowledge you gain in CHRIST should make you free and through you make others free. It should enrich you and through you enrich others. Make a positive difference in the lives of those you meet daily. Use your words to bless and encourage others. Let your life be used by GOD to bless your generation. It is more blessed to give than to receive - Acts 20:35.

Challenges on the way

All Christians encounter problems and difficulties along the way. All suffer persecution. But the promise of the LORD is sure. He will be with you and He will help you to overcome all of them. Psalm 34:19 - Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all (NKJV). 1st John 5:4 - Whatever is born of GOD overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith (NKJV).

Eternity in view

Our LORD JESUS went to prepare a place for us in heaven and will return again. We are commanded to be ready for His return as no man knows the hour. Remember that your reward awaits you for all the good works you have done as a believer in JESUS.
